Ordinary, examination, food handling, and cleaning gloves can protect the hands during use, but do not protect the gloves from microbial contamination.
GloDea AM gloves have been scientifically tested and proven to kill various pathogens that come in contact with the gloves, which prevents microbial contamination.

What is Antimicrobial d2p?

d2p antimicrobial technology is a patented process to integrate antimicrobial into plastics, textiles, papers or paints to become an essential part of the finished product. The active ingredient in d2p is registered with the US Environmental Protection Agency for a variety of uses as an antimicrobial additive in plastic materials, incuding those that come in contact with food and drinking water.
d2p has been successfully tested against a wide range of microorganisms including: MRSA, E.coli, Salmonella, Listeria, Pseudomonas, Candida, Corynebacterium, Klebsiella, etc.  

How d2p works:

d2p is integrated into the material during the manufacturing process
d2p penetrates the microorganism cells
d2p stops the microorganisms from multiplying
d2p kills the microorganism via stopping the proton pumps
The microorganism breaks down and ceases to function
d2p remains active for the full life of the glove
